To thosePoufies who might generously send items in the future, especially via physical mail: Scanning from computer-printed pictures with any real quality success is usually quite difficult, the results tenuous. Many are also much too small to obtain the resolution necessary for reasonable display on the Internet.
Tessy realizes that sending
originals, is always risky, but, if anyPoufie does, she assures
you they will be returned. Best bet, if you can, Some responses to Lou's earlier query: SoTe: "I am not revolted by seeing black panties under white petticoats, but I would rather see white or pastel panties. A much better combination of the colors of black and white would be white panties and black petticoat(s)." Jeremy: "I think that black stockings can look very
attractive under a full white petticoat. I like the colour of underwear
to be matching, but do the stockings count? I'm not sure that they do. I
think the stockings Iris: "I am definitely for uniform color for all
underwear, so OK white, black, pink, or even light blue, but everything
of the same color, under. Other problem: do you approve the same color
both for dress and petticoat and underwear? I don't like that at all,

Joe writes, regarding Dave Barber's 18 May Update comments: "I agree, the Latin dresses today are a pale comparison to those of the seventies and late sixties. "In the
mid-seventies I dated a girl. Soon after we met, she told me that she
went to ballroom dancing classes each week, and invited me to try it
out.
"Incidentally, I feel that the net petticoats that are made today, and sold for square dancing, really lack the beauty and detail of the original 50's creations. Can't anyone find those original 50's designs and recreate?" Tessy
agrees - 50s pettis were works of art compared to what exists today.
As a result, she has a collection of about 250, most all of which
were obtained on eBay...Tessy even tried making and selling
reproductions, but the cost was mote than Poufies were willing to pay. |

They take their stock to all sorts of dance events - supply mainly Rock-n-Rollers and Square Dancers. Excellent service, nice people to deal with, and have been going for years.
